Abstract
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain pre-test post-test non equivalent group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VII Prodi Pendidikan Matematika STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong tahun 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIId dan VIIe yang dipilih secara random. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket kecerdasan emosional dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Data dianalisis secara multivariat dengan taraf signifikansi 5% untuk pengujian kesamaan rata-rata kelompok dan ditindaklanjuti dengan analisis univariat. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan pada uji bemferoni, signifikan yang didapatkan lebih kecil dari 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan open ended berbasis kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa.
